Joan Beaufort
Joan Beaufort is the Founder and Chairman of La Royale Group, an investment holding group with a portfolio across technology, entertainment and lifestyle.
A French entrepreneur originally from Molsheim, Alsace, Joan has built and backed businesses across Europe and Asia since 2008. His experience spans regulated markets, digital infrastructure, cross-border investment and long-term business building.

Madelynn Loo
Madelynn Loo is Group CEO of La Royale Group, responsible for group-level strategy, portfolio oversight and operational execution.
A Singaporean executive with experience across TikTok, Uber and leading business schools including Harvard, Yale and MIT Sloan, Madelynn brings experience leading global teams, operational rigour and an international perspective to the Group’s next stage of growth.

Olivier Richard
Olivier Richard is CFO of La Royale Group, overseeing financial operations, M&A and strategic growth across the portfolio.
With 15 years of experience in corporate finance and investment banking across Europe and Asia - including roles at EY, Royal Bank of Scotland and Charcot Capital - Olivier brings deep financial expertise to the Group’s investment decisions and operating model.

Cyril Fabre is a partner at Ydès, leading the Intellectual Property and New Technologies department. A specialist in digital economy law, he advises on IP, IT, data protection, e-commerce, and media law. He joined Ydès in 2000 after working at the Agency for the Protection of Programs in Geneva. Cyril is also an arbitrator and mediator at WIPO and teaches at the Paris Bar School. He holds law degrees from Paris I, Paris XI, and Paris X, and has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2000.

Pascal Brun is a seasoned executive in the hospitality and gaming industry, with over 3 decades of international leadership experience.
He began his career in London at the prestigious Dorchester Hotel before returning to France, where he spent 25 years with the Barrière Group. His tenure included 12 years as General Manager of the Hotel Royal in Deauville and 13 years as Group General Manager overseeing hotels and casinos in Cannes.
He later served as Vice President of Operations for Sun Resorts in Mauritius and subsequently as CEO of a Paris-based restaurant group.
Since 2016, Pascal has led his own consulting firm, advising investors with a strong focus on client experience and business performance.

Gérard Ponson has been associated with the Lagardère Media group for over 20 years, and has created numerous magazines, websites and applications that have been successfully developed internationally. Drawing on this experience and an extensive network of influencers, Gérard works with La Royale Group on corporate communications and influencing.
