Once download is successful, Downloads > Open the folder > look for Setup.exe Application > double click to install

Installation steps:

  • Select language > [Next]
  • License Agreement > [Yes]
  • Firewall > [Yes]
  • Standard > [Next]
  • Select process > [Next] (no need to click the box 'Canon driver Information Assist service')
  • After the printer is found, check the box next to your printer under Device Name > click [Next]
  • Click [start] > installing > click [Exit]
  • Select on the printer and attempt to test print.

MacBook

  • Kindly access this weblink, https://sg.canon/en/support
  • Key in your copier model, EG: C3720. select the pop-up option
  • This will bring you to the page where it auto-detects your MacBook
  • Scroll down, double click to download *UFR II/UFRII LT Printer Driver & Utilities for Mac*

Once download is successful, open and install it, you will be able to see a folder at the download, run -> setup

Installation Steps:

  • Under Introduction page > select [continue]
  • Under License page > select [continue] > click [Agree]
  • Under Installation type page > click [Install] > click [use password] > Enter the password and click [install software] > installing > press [Close]
  • Once completed, open System Settings > search [Printer & Scanners]
  • At the bottom select [Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax]
  • Choose [IP] second tab
    • Address: key in the IP Address from your copier machine
    • Protocol: select LPD (Line Printer Daemon)
    • Queue: print
  • At the bottom [USE] > press [select Software] and key in 3720
  • Select the option (IR-ADV 3720) and click [ADD]
  • It will automatically detect your printer, and you will have a printer option on IDLE status with the IP Address available.
  • Select the printer and make it your DEFAULT printer and proceed to test print.
