Joan Beaufort - La Royale Group

Joan Beaufort

Founder and Chairman 

Joan Beaufort is a French entrepreneur originally from the winemaking region of Alsace. He is the visionary behind La Royale Group, a diversified group of companies he co-founded, operating across industries such as Software, Media, Fintech, Gaming Tech, and Real Estate.

With over 15 years of international experience, Joan has developed a strong expertise in global digital trends and cross-border business dynamics.
In addition to his global ventures, he remains committed to his roots, investing in his hometown of Molsheim (Bas-Rhin, France) through building restoration projects and the development of local businesses.
Joan is an alumni of Oxford’s Saïd Business School and holds an Executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Madelynn Loo is a results-driven tech executive with a strong track record of leading and scaling high-performing international teams at industry giants like TikTok and Uber.

As a Singaporean who has lived and worked in New Zealand and Europe, Madelynn brings a global perspective to innovation and leadership. She specializes in shaping corporate strategy, driving large-scale operational growth, and navigating complex, fast-paced tech environments.

Madelynn holds an MBA from a top London business school and executive education from Harvard Business School, Yale School of Management, and MIT Sloan.

Pierre Klein

Pierre Klein is a seasoned international executive with deep expertise in driving business growth through both structured and disruptive, client-centric strategies.

Pierre has led global business units at renowned organizations including Monsanto, Vinci, and TBWA. He also launched several digital startups and successfully spearheaded Betclic’s entry into the French market, capturing an impressive 66% market share.

He is an alumni of Harvard Business School, Sophia University in Tokyo, and Skema Business School in France.

Guillaume Fonquernie

Guillaume is a senior executive with a strong strategic and financial background, combining leadership in corporate finance and investment management. Over the past two decades, he has held key positions including CEO and CFO, driving the development of high-value assets and brands. With deep expertise in risk management and value creation, he brings both a holistic vision and a hands-on approach to guiding organizations through growth, transformation, and long-term positioning.

Cyril Fabre
Cyril Fabre

Cyril Fabre is a partner at Ydès, leading the Intellectual Property and New Technologies department. A specialist in digital economy law, he advises on IP, IT, data protection, e-commerce, and media law. He joined Ydès in 2000 after working at the Agency for the Protection of Programs in Geneva. Cyril is also an arbitrator and mediator at WIPO and teaches at the Paris Bar School. He holds law degrees from Paris I, Paris XI, and Paris X, and has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2000.

Pascal Brun
Pascal Brun

Pascal Brun is a seasoned executive in the hospitality and gaming industry, with over 3 decades of international leadership experience.

He began his career in London at the prestigious Dorchester Hotel before returning to France, where he spent 25 years with the Barrière Group. His tenure included 12 years as General Manager of the Hotel Royal in Deauville and 13 years as Group General Manager overseeing hotels and casinos in Cannes.

He later served as Vice President of Operations for Sun Resorts in Mauritius and subsequently as CEO of a Paris-based restaurant group.

Since 2016, Pascal has led his own consulting firm, advising investors with a strong focus on client experience and business performance.

Gérard Ponson

Gérard Ponson has been associated with the Lagardère Media group for over 20 years, and has created numerous magazines, websites and applications that have been successfully developed internationally. Drawing on this experience and an extensive network of influencers, Gérard works with La Royale Group on corporate communications and influencing.
